I saw a Game of Thrones mod on the workshop the other day. As far as I can tell it's mostly cosmetic stuff, clothing that looks like Night's Watch outfits, the gold cloaks armor, new food items, and the possibility of building "the wall". I don't think there's anything game breaking, or giving a huge advantage there, if you want to take a look at it. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=642114461

I have concerns about the walls (50k hp on large ice wall) Do the weapons/armor exceed or meet what is already in the game? I wish people would just do cosmetic mods like this, no need to buff things.

It's mainly the clothing and furniture that I'm drooling over

it uses the advanced architecture mod which we've had issues with in the past. really like the furniture though. I wish modders would separate things instead of packaging them into a giant thing.

I take that back, they're just using it in their video. I am looking into the mod. Once I hear back from the creator we may have a vote to install. I want to be able to disable engrams if the armors are overpowered (and definitely no ice walls). The cosmetic items are amazing and would be a welcome addition to base decoration.

The xp you get for using the fog mod is crasy cheaty though, probably a good idea to use OverrideEngramEntries and lower it to 0

the fog mod dude has stated he's going to make another one where only one needs to be placed and will clear the server of fog. At this point one needs to be placed in every stasis zone, would include ocean floor etc and the author never got back to me as to if the fog maker caused resources to not spawn or if people couldn't build around it etc.

To be fair, if we're leaning on making the server more engaging and difficult wouldn't this go against that ideal?
I hate the fog as much as anyone especially under water but it's part of the ambiance of the game. I'd be on-board for removing the fog from the ocean at least.

fog isn't a difficulty it's just an arbitrary time waster. it's a "oh well i can't do anything but sit in my base for 10 minutes."

but nash, we could be taming something, gathering, or killing in those 10 minutes

true. Fog should spawn gigas.

I understand that this mod allows players to create an object that stops thick fog in a specific radius. If approved it should be closely regulated.
On a side note, I do think it reduces difficulty, as I have never stopped to wait for fog...I have the deaths to prove it.

agreed and I think we're good on mods so i'm going to lock this. if something earthshatteringly cool comes out, someone can make a new thread over it.
