Hello all,

I've been AFK since 3/24/16, just got back online today. All is well in my little corner of the Ark. Tribe Log shows one wandering lowbie Oviraptor dead and nothing else.

I had 8 large crop plots with Species X and roughly 8 medium crop plots with the usual stuff, all on wooden foundations. All the crop plots, spread out over a pretty wide area, are MIA. I thought some plants might die but this is unexpected. Wooden foundations seem happy, tho.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a new phenomena from an update or has this come up before and been addressed? Is there some problem placing them on a foundation that I haven't seen before? Did a search of forums, didn't see anything - if I've missed something here please point me in the right direction with the appropriate light mocking. (:

Honestly don't know if crop plots count as the above.

I was gone for about 5 days for a work trip and when I returned my large crop plots were the only thing that had despawned.

It's a hard balance to keep. If i raise the multiplier higher... then we'll see people leave who have metal bases and their building will be up for almost a month with no one able to build there... but you wouldn't lose crop plots.

I think we're doing a decent job at the moment removing decaying buildings for people to build around.

Things are set up really well, Nash. You folks do a good job of keeping us up, running and happy.

The things I don't know about Ark would fill a giga. Structure decay I don't know much about except for overall buildings. Came home to my Internet being down for a few days so I was probably hoping waaaaay too much that it was a newly introduced Ark bug.
