I think a full wipe would be great. I see a lot of stuff just not being used. I have enjoyed our time on the server so far. I feel that a wipe could really breathe some good life back into the server anyways ^.^ Either way I'm excited for the new update!

Corpse finder and dino finder are generally good for counteracting bugs.
Corpses dropping through the map happens a touch too often, and after you learn the world you pretty quickly figure out where you died, so it's more a general help in finding it. I don't think it'd add much in the way of difficulty removing it, except for difficulty for those hit by a bug.
Dino finder helps also bug wise, when stuff manages to phase through walls, just today I found one of our beavers swimming in circles in the ocean after managing to phase through 3 walls to get to the ocean, I don't think people lose dinos in many ways beyond that sort of situation.
As for lowering rates, the rates right now are good for people that wanna run single/duo tribes, drop them any lower and while it might up difficulty, it will cause many to lose interest.
I can't say I have any ideas that are doable, a few that aren't far as we are capable of now, but ideas people come up with are great in that no matter if we wipe or not, likely some of them will be useful either way.

Frisian - There is a very good reason that I don't make the rules, I'm a big meany head =) Luckily I have good friends to make sure the server stays balanced!

capping tamed dinos at 120 would be the best way imo. no reason a tamed dino should be any stronger than a wild one. It'd also remove that "i'm invincible" feeling when running around on any tamed rex.

In any case, as for this vote: There's not enough support to wipe. It would have had to be overwhelming yes to do so. As of now more people do not want it than do. There will be plenty of other chances to wipe and possible mandatory wipes leading up to release so we'll go with that. No one needs to be scared about losing their work and can play freely at this time.

Lowering the multipliers might tip the balance, it we were to exclude the other aspects/mods I mentioned earlier. |

While I feel that a wipe would help for a short time, over all it would demoralize everyone when a 2nd and 3rd wipe are forced upon us later down the line. There will be no wipe. Thank you everyone for offering up your opinions, thoughts and ideas on this matter. It's great that we can keep these lines of communication open and flowing. The general consensus that I took away was that people want to be challenged more as they progress through the game. Which can be a tricky on a PVE server. Admins have some great things to discuss. Hey I have an idea, can the drop mod be removed without a wipe? If it can then maybe we could just throw out all of our op blueprints and weapons so that the difficulty would be a little harder. Just a thought.

One slight problem with this is that some(Very very few) of us have gotten OP BPs through vanilla methods/drop tables like Deep Sea Loot Crates, as well as the red drops in the snow and swamp cave |

I dont think you quite understand, i have spent the majority of my time since playing on this server getting Bps, and of 27 asc Bps i have 25 of them are from vanilla drops, and that number is even higher with mastercraft and others, i have gotten around 500 loot crates in my time playing, which is alot, and to throw it all away even though i got them from vanilla means . .. Well i might as well just join another server |
