I'm curious if we fully appreciate the difficulty of a titanosaurus tame. Reason being is, Nobody on this server right now, is going to attempt to tame a titano if it's a 24 hr tame. It's just too hard, too many resources. It's meant for a power grab scenario or something, where a pvp tribe might have a chance to overthrow an alpha tribe. That's the only way the resources required can be justified. tbh i don't think any tribe on server is capable of it unless all frostborn was on at once and in the same mind to take one for their own. I understand the logic behind the decision to enable everyone to get a shot... except that it's titanosaur, so nobody will get a shot, especially if it's only 24 hr tame. I mostly just await a mod to fix it, cuz they put it in the game broken for pve purposes. There's nothing in pve to justify the thing being anything other than a moving dino-shaped rock lol. I like to suggest solutions when i rant, but I know there's nothing to do but wait. I can't see anyone having one till it's fixed or modded into pve usefulness

It's a rendering issue as well. 1 titanosaur is worth 500+ dodos, dilos, fish, bugs etc in terms of rendering and CPU/mem use on a server. the 3 is set for that reason, and the <24 hours is set because if only 3 people had them the rest of pvp would be useless. Titano's don't harvest, they don't do anything but kill at a slow walk speed, i guess they'ed make an OK mobile base, but what good is that with the giant bases we've already built. Purely a status symbol at this point. Devs have talked about doing stuff with them, but for the moment, I'm gonna leave it how it is. I agree it's broken, but i'm not sure what having 40 of them on a server would do. and i'm really not wanting to deal with 3 people having one and 20 others complaining to me about it.
