OK now hear me out. Yes i know, Nash already said we were good on mods for now, but i want too suggest one more mod for us to add to the server. And that mod is . . .. Underwater BaseMod! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=679500536 (Yes, it has the little green puzzle piece thing)
Alright let me tell you why i want this mod to be a thing. As some of you may know, i spend much more time underwater than the average survivor, and I've been wanted to build a base underwater for the longest time. Since we cant build in underwater caves, this could be another viable option. The mod only really adds 2 things, a type of bed for underwater, and the underwater generator. Even if the mod does screw up somehow, things could still be salvaged from base, since the mod basically just lets stuff be powered underwater and be able to breath in that area. Really just want this mod to be at least considered.
Alright, thanks for reading,

To add one tidbit, that might be a frequently asked question. I'll copy/paste the mats. Whether it's balanced in that regard I'll let you be the judge:
To craft: 500xIngots 250xElectronics 100xPolymer 50xCrystal

They've already said underwater bases will be a thing. When they become one will you and everyone else who builds one be okay with their current underwater base blowing up and having to build a new one? That's the biggest worry I have with it. It's something to discuss though.

Personally, i would be fine with demoing an entire underwater base and building a new one once the official underwater bases come out. Though that is just me, since ive wanted to build underwater for the longest time now, not sure about others though.

I think it would be a regular pros vs cons thing for everyone, like if someone went through a lot of trouble to build a tree house in an eco mod tree, but then redwoods came out The underwater base mod is kind of a similar hack thing, so the official version would have a hard time NOT being 10x better. This is also assuming w/e underwater solution they come up with couldn't be tacked on to existing underwater bases Like bubble-rooms or w/e replacing your regular rooms bit by bit. It's kinda funny since CaMp has already been into just building a base underwater and wearing scuba... but the dumb things like fridges not working is the rub >.< This is basically a "fridges work underwater" mod. And w/e else doesn't work under there. I always get these things confused... but can't you use a mosa platform for a lot of those things and have them work? ... also kind of a hack... but you don't have a lack of mosas...

I believe they'll be coming out with a new glass that's a lot stronger than greenhouse glass. at least that's what I've heard. This will keep water out somehow. Not sure how it's going to work Primitive extras was a slap in the face back to reality on the issues of mods so i'm cautious at the moment.

Not sure how it's going to work Primitive extras was a slap in the face back to reality on the issues of mods so i'm cautious at the moment. In my eyes, one of two things will happen. Either they go the Psuedo-Minecraft route and have it be where as soon as you make an enclosed base the water will magically vanish from that area, OR they create an Oxygen Pump Engram (that probably requires a pipe running all the way up to the surface) that'll pump the water out. My gut's leaning towards the latter, myself. And I assume that slap in the face was my former building choices? If so, then I'm inclined to agree. Just like any other mod, if someone were to build an underwater base and grow quite attached to it - which, let's be honest here, Camp TOTALLY would - and that mod suddenly decided to go belly-up on us, all of that work and whatever resources might have been kept there will be gone. Maybe, just for the interim, just maybe we could give Camp a little leeway. As he said, he spends more time underwater than any of us. Maybe we can give him ONE underwater cave to build in? At least until the underwater bases become official?

Eh would just like to restate what Dave already said that all this mod does is allow us to power stuff underwater and be able to breath/walk, even if the mod did go retard, i could still get all the resources out of everything and demo the structures to still get 1/2 of my materials back

when mods go retard all structures built through the mod go away. when i remove primitive extras every item will go away that belongs to that mod.
