Any ideas?

After that I'd go so far as to delete the mods folder and let the server re-download them.

attica: Ty 7Cav! Good to know. Having the old 'make sure server is running latest versions of mods' mismatch and AB's address shows as 'not responding' in steam! I'm going to have to play a solo game at this rate, just to soothe the withdrawal!
