Hi, I'm pretty new here, just found your server and it seems right for me. However, I can't seem to join. I have downloaded all the correct mods as the error for mods not being the same is not there. I'm joining through this: ark-servers.net/server/31160/ and clicking the connect button with and without ARK running. I've also tried clicking the IP address as that is what I found in the help section of the website. Also doesn't work. Here is what happens. 1) Click connect 2) Gives me a mini window in steam showing me IP, people on server, etc. 3) Click Join Game 4) ARK boots up (don't know if having battle eye installed affects anything) 5) Tells me I'm trying to connect through direct invite 6) Click accept 7) Gives me window stating: Unable to query server info I'm 100% sure I don't have any other mods installed/subscribed to. I've tried verifying my game cache, restarting pc, restarting ark and steam, and nothing seems to work. I will be away for 10 days or so as of this post. Won't be able to try suggestions until I get back home but any help is welcome. Edit: I'm super smart  Just searched for "ARKAgainstHumanity" in unofficial servers and was able to join without errors. I did download a paint mod which is weird... Didn't mention that mod being in the server but whatever. |

i did the same as you i just didn't click accept and it connected, i just went in from: arkservers.net/server/172.93.106.34:7780sorry about not listing the paint mixer, it's a tiny one we forget about. |

It took awhile, had to let it sit for a minute or two. it may have been downloading a mod

Aaaand now I can't join. Same error: "Unable to query server info" I've tried your method, uninstalling mods and re-downloading them while joining, verifying the game cache,searched internet for solutions, nada. Even searching for the server name doesn't work even though it worked before the wipe. 100% sure I'm typing it in right. Unofficial, official, non-dedicated, LAN, all of them and got nothing. And since we recently wiped, I can't use the "My Survivor" drop down option. Also 100% sure I have the latest update, just updated a couple hours ago as of this post. *Sigh* Anyways, I'll try again tomorrow and see if anything works. Really wish this didn't occur as I want to play on the server and try out The Center map. Haven't played much on it. P.S. Don't ask why I'm writing this so late  Edit: Just noticed I'm running v245.93 so this could be the problem. Going to have to wait for the server to update in order to test my theory. Quick fixes... sometimes good, usually annoying. Anyways, I'm done for real this time. |

Have you played on the server beforehand? If so you can just launch ark from steam, join/multiplayer, then on the left filter by "My Survivors" if we're not showing up there, it's a mod/patch issue. Going to update now.

I played before the wipe, not after. Won't show up on search list as I said earlier

Not sure if this will help, but when searching for the server it did not work for me either. I had to scroll through all of the unofficial servers to find it. It took awhile, but I did find it. Sorry mate! I hope you get it fixed!

I'll try this later as I'm I bit busy. It's gonna be a pain in the a**. I tried doing this: Steam Browser > view > servers > history > ARK Against Humanity Server It doesn't work. I've also tried using the favorites tab and adding with the IP address. Also doesn't work. I'm out of ideas. Guess I'll try to find it regularly.

I am sorry Do you have the center map downloaded? Try searching servers with center map only. I hate to be that IT a-hole, but did you restart your computer after downloading the mods? Besides checking the "integrity" of the game through Steam I honestly am out of ideas.... I just know it took me going through the Unofficial server list a few times to finally find it. Once you do find it, don't forget to favorite it just in case!! |

Let me try re-downloading all the mods and restarting my computer. I don't know if I have the center map downloaded, wouldn't seem to make a difference in finding the server, just joining. Checked the integrity of the game a bunch. Always says I'm missing 3 files. It supposedly "downloads" these files. I checked the integrity back to back and it still said I had 3 files missing. Try to find the server, no luck. When I search through the unofficial servers, I only look through the servers starting with "A" as the servers are sorted alphabetically. The rest I skim through. The server name starts with "A" hence ARKAgainstHumanity but I can't seem to find it. Maybe it shows up under a different name? Doubtful. I might just not play. Though it makes me sad as this was the perfect server, I just can't seem to find the server. It seems too much of a hassle already. Losing hope  . If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd be happy to give them a whirl but I expect the same. And don't worry Helbella, so far, no one has been "that IT a-hole" |

Good Morning! I checked out a forum where someone was having the same issue, and they fixed it, I am not 100% sure how. This is what they said "Solution: Originally one of the files was incorrect/corrupt. Using steam to "verify tool cache" did absolutely nothing after several attempts. I modified the file in question to force a cache check that would show a problem. It re-downloaded the file and the issue was fixed. "

I would use youtube to help you, anytime I have to modify or edit a file I use youtube to guide me. Hope it helps! ALSO the server did not show up alphabetical for me... which I think is an ARK glitch, I just had to slow scroll through them. It sucked but I found it after my second attempt through....
I also I would try uninstalling ARK and reinstalling it, this may also fix the fatal error... Also going to be a pain. But I hope something fixes it for you!

I have never been able to find this specific server by looking for it in the game. When I made my first survivor on the old server and the new one I had to first join by going here, ark-servers.net/server/31160/ and hitting the connect button. After making my survivor, the server started to show up in my "My Survivors" list in the game and I found that to be the most reliable way of logging back in. |

Don't know of editing the files as a solution. The page doesn't really tell me what to do. I guess I'll try reinstalling the game even though it'll take forever. Thanks for the help though.

I don't know if reinstalling includes just deleting the ARK folder but it didn't help. I'm beat. Nothing's working and it's just not worth it at this point.

I left my 80-something Survivor on Ragnarok, can we transfer our toons to AB or just start afresh? Very Happy to be Baaack!
