I know we all have had this issue when building when you cant snap something because its obstructed or putting walls to the ground and you cant. so my question is can we get this mod its not game changing but it would help everyone. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=632091170

I would love this! I was having an insane amount of issues with the rounded left& right stone stairs... I couldn't get them to line up for the life of me and had to abandon my design idea /cry.

Mods like these worry me, you don't know how long it took us to finally let metal/glass mod in. The problem stems from these mods don't actually make the regular game items work differently, they're an entirely new set of items made from a smithy like object. If for some reason we ever loaded the server and that mod didn't load, EVERYONE would lose their base. instantly. This happened once with stairs/rounded mod and it caused a huge headache the next week with me trying to give out pieces to replace users bases that collapsed overnight.
This mod was made by our good friend Ken (who made us our raft mod BTW.) Part of me feels like building around the environment is a good thing. it's what the game entailed. I don't think I'd ever install this on the island.
However, on the Center there seems to be many more protrusions and general non flat areas to build. If pieces snap to regular pieces, it's an option I'm willing to discuss, with the caveat that everyone builds their base with NORMAL pieces except those pieces they need to go into a cliff. that would ease my worry about everyone losing everything overnight.
contacted ken about whether or not his items snap to regular building pieces.

I'm typically against mods of this nature for similar reasons, however due to the map blocking buildings on some beaches that look to be even enough. This might not be a bad idea.
So I'd agree with Nash here. While there have been several mods of this nature that break, I trust our friend Ken and his mad skills. I would also add that IF you choose to build your base using this mod and ONLY this mod. I would not be prone to replacing your entire base, if the mod breaks.
I'd like to note that this would bring us to 11 mods.

i'm all for dropping paint mixer, since the new cooker can make it ridiculously fast without water. frankly i'm for dropping temp building mod too... but i think half the server would get upset about that one Large Mods: Temp Building Mod, EcoTrees, Metal and Glass, Stairs Mod with Rounded Walls v.4.2 Medium: Cute Hair, Pub Mod Tiny: Raft mod, PaintMixer, Joan's Death Helper, Joan's Dino Finder, Improved Spyglass we actually have 11 mods. 3 are purely decoration 6 are for quality of life (counting temp here because a temp piece shouldn't be on your build for more than 1 day.) 2 are building mods

I dunno about mad skills... but anyway I am doing a rework on the NC mod. There were changes made to ark that decreased the mods current ability to go into terrain. It still works great but I want it better. I will email AAH admins about adding specific pieces to the raft mod. We can keep it all in one mod which helps with server load times and you would be able to disable ability to place new parts at any time if you wished without any change to existing parts. I will contact you in the next few days.

Oh one other thing. The mod will never break. It is designed to work with any version of ark. It wouldn't ever cause a problem. I can assure you there would never be loss of buildings.

On my servers many people (including myself) don't use core parts at all. I only use the NC ones or other modded ones. You can mix them as well. . So if someone crafted the others it is fine.

Was either refund pieces or make people lose 8 hours of work.

Don't take my Temp Building Mod away! It's the only thing that mitigates my self-created hair loss when building in ARK! I'd be very interested in a mod that helps building parts clip into the terrain... I can think of several areas of my 'The Centre' base right now that can benefit. Building into a bluff wasn't as simple as I thought it would be! Thank you. Attica

Quick input on this suggestion... the no collision mod does not always work. While it does still give more freedom in builds, it's somewhat unreliable as far as what it is supposed to do, which is a shame b/c its great on paper (my experience anyway.) However, steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731604991 could be an alternative for now that does what the no clip mod "wants to do." It might just work better b/c it is newer; idk. Anyway, just a thought. No disrespect to your pal who made the no clip mod; I'm sure that's a task in itself and keeping it updated/fixed/working properly is another. I'm not for or against adding this mod or kind of mod; i work around the environment trolling my builds. Just adding an opinion.
