this has probably already been addressed in-game but just in case (and for ppl still seeing them in-game) this is due to the problem that happened in which the game settings were deleted. The difficulty level (5) has all the wild animals spawn in multiples of 5 (lowest level 5, highest level 150). The lowest difficulty level (1) has them spawn in all numbers, basically. This is what happened. It's been fixed, but those different-levelled animals will basically stick around until killed off.

I've killed them at least once since the halloween patch in a vain attempt to get bone dinos to spawn lol.
