Alright, I'm dying for some d2 style play.
D3 is dead to me until they add back trading to PC.
Grim Dawn is great but it's kinda single player only.
Path of Exile seems to be my only option. Anyone want to join me during some ark downtime for some POE play? It's a free game with cosmetic item shop purchases. I believe the only thing you can purchase that's actually helpful is more storage tabs to hoard gear. I've sunk about 220 hours into the game in the past... my major complaint is they kill builds. I spent every bit of "money" i have on trading for items for my build, then a month later a patch comes out that makes my build worthless and those items have no value now. Hoping that's changed in the last year.
Let me know! steam name: chazz1241

I have not played it recently, however I have played in the past. I will admit I only have about 2 hours game time on the game, but I would be willing to try it out if I had an actual team to run around with ( being in a party is always better in rpg games XD)

Diablo 2, the best game ever made.

I am sorry I would have to disagree.
Warcraft 3 is the best game ever made.
It's like they stole a piece of hair from Richard Dean Anderson (who you can see to your left holding up a plate) and distilled it's essence into a game.

It's not even the best RTS, how can it be the best game ever?

I will attempt to forgive your transgressions, I'm just not sure I will be able to.

Warcraft 3 was a great rts, but I liked C&C Red Alert series more, I would love to see more Warcraft though or the style.
I found the Diablo series gameplay to be dry, story was decent, but game pay was too loot was nutz, I was spending more time selling and buying that I liked.
For me KOTOR & Fallout 1 were my personal rpg fav's.

can't pick up every item lol. If it isn't gold/yellow/green it stayed on the ground.
I think the only game i put more time into than d2 was WoW, and that was just because of the nature of an MMO and keeping up with top raid status. If you count mods, d2 was relevant for 12 years where I'd play a few months every single year with friends.

The only fault that Warcraft 3 had/has is that it created the MOBA/DOTA game genre. Inside of Warcraft 3 it's fine but it took me quite a lot of time for me to forgive it for playing a hand in the creation of League of Legends (yes offense to anyone that currently plays that game).
I also still play WoW and have been since close to the release, I try to not do a /played as much as possible for fear as to what the number will come up as.

I had to quit. Raiding is what was fun to me, and raiding meant 5-6 days a week every night all night. Couldn't keep that up and keep my marriage.
As someone who makes a living working on a MOBA I should probably thank WC3 for that... Not saying the community isn't horrible, but it pays the bills.

I apologize, my only issue with League is the community. The game and the other ones in the genre are indeed fun.
Also, raiding is what I currently do in the game as well. We are on a break right now until Legion so once that hits I assume I will be on only sparingly to prevent my stuff from despawning.

I have never been a fan of WoW, Warcraft itself before hand yes, but not WoW... Also I go with Starcraft for my rts choice

I greatly dislike most MMO's, they are nothing more than endless time sinks, plus when I did Raid, it took 2-3 hours to start and the endless QQ'ing.
I have yet to play Starcraft, but every RTS gamer I have met tells me that they are best RTS out there. RomaDaddy, should I bother with 1? I have Starcraft 2 with dlc.
This is the only online game I play with other people, other than browser based games =)

SC 1... or AoE2 are probably the best RTS games ever made. SC 2 is good.

sc1 is def worth it, less of the graphic style story more of the ingame/loadscreen style lol

I grew up on crap graphics, never seemed to bother me much, provided story is there.
