All you need to do is find the template that you want, drop it in the correct file location and assuming that you have the correct materials on you it will create the painting for you.
I personally like arkpaint.com/paint/kibble-cheatsheet/, for those that don't have a second monitor. Just place it over your egg storage or cooking area and you have a quick reference for the needed materials. Minus the berries and fiber that is needed. Lots of other useful things as well such as the enhanced War Map that shows cave/deep sea loot crate locations.
