Looked up "What does september 12 Center Mega update mean?" on google. Found this gem directly from the Dev Author

Dire bear dens (in redwoods i think)
The area below the western edge of the world is now real water with more penguins!
Western tundra plains are a little warmer, and trees there give more wood/thatch so you can build in the wide open plains better

Mosa swarm (hopefully) Fixed!
