Over the course of my time on the center map I have seen several people lose all the items in their inventories by dying underwater. This recently happened to me. I was mining oil when I was set upon by 2 mosa's who killed me. I raced back on my spare icthy with a corpse and pet finder only to discover that the corpse finder gave me no information as to the location of my death bag. I know I am not the first person to have this problem and I am sure I won't be the last. I do not know whether the administrators have any power to fix this or control over when or whether it happens.

This lost me my entire inventory including an asc xbow, mc flak helm, journeyman flak chest.

remember the main game doesn't have the corpse finder. you have to make your best guess as to where you died. losing your gear is part of the game. we haven't replaced gear on death as long as I can remember unless it was admin caused.

Nash, its not that corpse finder isnt working, its that the corpse 100% poofs out of existence instantly after dying underwater sometimes.
But sparrow if you catch me in game i can give you some replacement gear, though it'll might be riot for the helm instead of flak
