Request for help clearing/deleting/claiming base

Hi!  I am Chicago Ted.  I have been on the server for a few days.  Zephinal suggested I post on the forums.  My current base is across the river from the FBS base, however that difference means that I have high level spawns spawning directly on top of me pretty much constantly.  I saw his base was abandoned!  It might not be far away but for some reason the spawns are much milder just across the river.  I asked in game if anyone had seen them and someone said they had left.  I asked if I could dismantle ti and was told that if it is capable of being dismantled, I can.  so I dismantled the base.

Pretty much everything is gone except for a few fixtures I could not delete, the outer walls and uh, their dinosaur zoo.

Can anyone help with the dinosaurs?  What do I do about them?  Zephinal said you could clear the area but I don't know what that involves.  I deconstructed all of the buildings but left the outer perimeter walls.  If possible, is there any way I can claim those?  There is a handy staircase for getting up and down I would like to claim as well, if I can.  They can be deconstructed too but I left them up for now.

I understand the rules about 'staking claims' for areas you don't plan to use.  I plan to make that cliff my new base.  I built a small base just beyond the edge of it for now.  I think there may be some foundations stuck beneath the ground because while I can build just beyond the edge of the base, I can't build on the top of the cliff at all.
