greetings, I'm Lady Kirsten (LadyK) and I'm excited be a part of this server community. I'm fairly new to ARK and completely new to this server.

I have a couple of questions though:

Tame limits? I tried finding the info in the rules, and couldn't. Could someone enlighten me please?

Platform limits? I'm at a loss why beds are platforms, please someone explain?

Having played a bit elsewhere, I was wondering where I would put a suggestion for adding either the Ark Advance mod or the Upgrade Station mod? They add a whole lot of ease for game play as well as make some interesting potentials for cosmetic additions.

Mods, you just make a proposition in the forums above, usually in general discussion. Do note though, the chances of those mods coming through are slim to none as this is a server that runs extremely mod light and will generally not accept/use mods that make things easier since it is PVE.

As for the limits on platform and tamed dinos, those are just server settings the admins set to keep it stable. Looking at recent threads, it seems some people are over taming and over making platform saddles and boats, causing us to hit the limit. This becomes an issue when we get new members without a boat and they want one. The other issue is, 99% of the time, most of what people horde, won't be actually used.

We currently have the tribal dino limit to 250, egg farms, several tribes running end bosses...etc

There's a server limit of 120 platform saddles & rafts--a number we're currently having issues staying under.

But we're a fairly chill community of smart & helpful gamers, new and veterans alike. The server has been for up over a year and we're all here to enjoy good company...doing our best not to die.

Rastuasi hit it on the head with mods; we try to keep a fairly challenging PVE server with lite mods (we'll be removing 2 here shortly). S+ is a pretty OP mod that we're currently using unfiltered with no features disallowed. So it saves tons of time and is ridiculous in some areas.

Most the community here is rather self-sufficient and helps when they can.

attica: Ty 7Cav! Good to know. Having the old 'make sure server is running latest versions of mods' mismatch and AB's address shows as 'not responding' in steam! I'm going to have to play a solo game at this rate, just to soothe the withdrawal!
